Over 1500 people have been reported dead in a 7.8 magnitude earthquake that rocked Kathmandu region in Nepal Saturday morning. Many buildings as well as historic sites were destroyed in the wake of the earthquake. This is be the second deadliest earthquake to strike Nepal since the one recorded in 1934 which killed about 8,500 people. See more photos from the disaster after the cut..
