American Idol, the popular singing talent show in going, according to reports we are getting. Fox announced on Tuesday that next episode of the series would be the last of the 14 year old talent-hunt show .
The former producer of the show, Nigel Lythgoe is now blaming it on the pairing of Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey. He said the two pop divas took away the attention from the contestants, calling it a ‘disastrous pairing’.
He said: “Mariah and Nicki was just crazy, and then it reakky started becoming about the judges and took away the contestants altogether. “I think that was a major failing on the part of casting to have those two together” he added.
