National Assembly praises Jega on election

Nigeria's National Assembly has hailed the Chairman of Independent National Electoral Commissin, Prof. Attahiru Jega on the successful conduct of last weekend's Presidential and National Assembly elections.

It also advised the commission to try as much it can to address all the challenges identified during the first phase of the poll so it does not rear its ugly head again in the second phase which is the Governorship and States Houses of Assembly election coming up on the 11th of April.

Senator Andy Uba the chairman of the Senate Committee on INEC and Jerry Manwe his House of Rep. counterpart were mandate to convey the message to the commission which reports say they did as directed.
